Bethan Baƫz-Devine & Sharon Herriot are experienced Art Psychotherapists with a passion for inspiring people to work more creatively.

The Potting Shed is a safe and welcoming space for play, creativity, learning and innovation. Offering non-residential creative retreats for therapists and counsellors of all modalities; small group activities, reflection, exploration of your creative practice & integration into client-work

Come and make a real change to your client work, discover inspiration and freedom of expression, and transform your therapy practice in The Potting Shed.

This series of 2-day, non-residential creative retreats have been specially designed to support counsellors and therapists (of all modalities) in exploring their creative process. Discover new tools, innovative ways of working and thinking, and integrate this into your self-care and client work.

Making a mess can be a fantastic part of play and opening up.

In The Potting Shed you will have the opportunity to work with a range of creative activities, be supported in exploring your playfulness and creativity, and find a safe space to reflect on your experiences with other therapeutic practitioners.

All 3 weekends retreats are stand-alone events; you can book on any one of the weekends or all 3. The retreats follow the natural cycle of a year from Spring (opening & beginning) through Summer (holding & containing) closing the year in Autumn (endings & losses).

No previous artistic experience necessary (though artists and art therapists are welcome), the focus is on play and expression, on process rather than product. Bethan & Sharon will support and hold the group throughout the weekend’s activities ensuring a stimulating and secure experience for all.

These are spaces to get away and absorb yourself in creativity; you will be nurtured with good food, refreshments and all the equipment you need to engage in art and imagination.....you just need to bring yourself and an open mind.
